Since 2019, young chef Branko Kišić has been running the historic Klub Književnika restaurant, a favorite among locals and tourists alike. Located in the heart of Belgrade, the restaurant offers a cozy atmosphere with dining options in a winter garden or in the main dining room, which often features live music during the colder months.
The menu features Serbian classics such as Krempita, which has been on the menu since the restaurant opened in 1946, and Gibanica, as well as international dishes such as entrecôte with foie gras sauce. The restaurant, which began as a gathering place for the Yugoslav literary elite after World War II, remains an iconic venue for cultural events and visits by dignitaries.
