Espacio Trapiche

Contemporary
For those seeking a gastronomic experience rather than just a simple meal, this restaurant—which offers a combination of fine wine and fine dining—is the perfect choice. Located in a glass-fronted annex with views of the vineyards at the entrance to the prestigious Trapiche winery, Espacio Trapiche features an open kitchen visible from the entrance hall (part of the floor is made of glass so guests can see the underground wine cellar below) as well as an attractive, contemporary-style dining room. Chef Lucas Bustos, whose popularity has skyrocketed since his appearance in a Netflix documentary on Mendoza’s cuisine (Magical Andes), surprises guests with his modern cuisine that celebrates ingredients from the surrounding mountains—such as potatoes, lamb, trout, and vegetables from his own garden—which are exclusively featured on his meticulously prepared menus: Premium, Ultra Premium (both featuring the same dishes—some chosen by guests—but with different wine pairings), and Degustación (Tasting), the latter of which requires advance booking.
