El Salvador: The New Epicenter of Haute Cuisine in Central America – April Agenda

This April, El Salvador will become the setting for a series of unprecedented culinary experiences. Through Fine Dining Table, we have curated a series of experiences where international techniques and local ingredients come together to elevate Salvadoran cuisine to the next level.

From four-hands dinners with culinary masters to sunset parties by the coast, here are the events you can't miss this month.

April 17: Fuego & Escondida – A Meeting of Two Houses

The journey begins amid the embers of Casa Fuego in San Salvador. On a night when technique and origin take center stage, the restaurant welcomes Hidden House from Panama. This collaboration promises a menu designed to delight the senses, bringing together the culinary expertise of two nations at a single table.

April 18: Chilean Precision in the Heart of San Salvador

On Friday the 18th, the counter at Kemuri becomes the epicenter of sophistication. We welcome Chef Diego Fernandino, whose signature technique and mastery of Chilean ingredients will blend with Kemuri’s identity to offer a unique, high-end dining experience.

  • Location: Kemuri, El Salvador.
  • Special Guest: Chef Diego Fernandino (Chile).

April 19: Smoke on the Water – Sunset, Smoke & Beats

The experience moves to the coast at Casa Marina for a «Sunset Party»…that sets the perfect mood to wrap up the weekend. From Panama, Octo Smokehouse takes control of the smoker and grill, accompanied by the beats of DJ Mauricio Hernandez, creating an atmosphere of fire, ocean breezes, and tropical rhythms overlooking the Pacific.

  • Location: Casa Marina, El Salvador.
  • Special Guest: Octo Smokehouse (Panama) and DJ Mauricio Hernandez.

April 20: Roots and Ocean – United by Origin

To round out this extraordinary week, The Xolo Maiz opens its doors for a collaboration that celebrates the land and culinary integrity. Chef Andrés Morataya (Casa de Mar, Panama) combines his philosophy of respecting the environment with the heritage of native heirloom corn in a dinner that blends the power of the sea with deep-rooted traditions.

  • Location: El Xolo, San Salvador.
  • Special Guest: Andrés Morataya (De Mar, Panama).
