After returning to his native Colombia, chef Jaime Torregrosa opened his own take on a Japanese izakaya. The result is a relaxed space where small plates, designed for sharing, blend Latin American, Nordic, and Japanese flavors using Colombian ingredients from various regions of the country. With a cozy atmosphere and a grunge soundtrack, Humo Negro also stands out for its focus on cocktail pairings.
Torregrosa has worked all over the world, honing his culinary skills at prestigious restaurants such as Fäviken in Sweden and Ca Sento in Japan.
