Harry Sasson, Bogotá

Considered perhaps Colombia's most famous chef and restaurateur, Harry Sasson runs a small empire of establishments throughout Bogotá, including a bar, a bakery, and a grill. However, his flagship restaurant, named after him, remains the crown jewel. The menu is a fusion of Latin American, Asian, and European influences, featuring popular dishes such as pedis and empanadas, a mozzarella bar, wok-fried dishes, and Robata-grilled meats.

The restaurant is located in a stately Tudor-style mansion, featuring an impressive glass-enclosed bar with exposed beams. It attracts Colombia's rich and famous, yet maintains an inclusive atmosphere thanks to its warm service and simple but delicious food. In addition, it boasts one of the largest wine lists in the country.
