Pizzardi Artigianale

Pizzardi Artigianale has been named the best pizza in Colombia in 2024 by the Fine Dining Table team, standing out for its authenticity and quality in every detail. To learn more about its history, we spoke with Andrea Borneccelli, who told us how this project came to be and what makes it unique.

"The history of Pizzardi began about 10 years ago with my husband. We both have Italian ancestry, and every time we traveled to Italy, we would say, ‘There’s no pizza like this in Colombia.’ One day, in Barranquilla, we met an Italian chef who had won the award for best pizza and began teaching us the secrets of authentic Italian pizza."

Andrea tells us that it all started as a home project: “We bought a small oven and brought high-quality ingredients from Italy. Then, we consulted with experts in the restaurant industry and gradually perfected our recipes.”
