Gastón Acurio and executive chef Diego Oka opened this Peruvian restaurant on Brickell Key in 2014, and despite being in a city that prides itself on staying young and attractive, there is still no restaurant that can match its views. Located at the base of the Mandarin Oriental hotel, the expansive terrace sits right on Biscayne Bay, offering a panoramic view of the Miami skyline. It is a sight to be savored, which is why no one reserves a table inside. Meanwhile, friendly waiters present an extensive menu of favorites. Start with seafood: the ceviche, packed with grouper, shrimp, and octopus, is dressed with a spicy leche de tigre, while the succulent jumbo scallops are seared and served with Parmesan foam. Classic, umami-packed lomo saltado and a spicy pisco sour round out any good meal here.
