The Odeon
It's not hard to see why The Odeon has been a mainstay of TriBeCa life for so long. Like watching a rerun of *Seinfeld*, it's comfortingly familiar, classically New York, and, even when you know what's coming next, still deeply satisfying. The menu offers a variety of favorites, from chicken paillard to beet salad, burgers, and cheesecake. The cocktails are expertly prepared, and the beers are carefully poured. The dishes show attention to detail, and the portions are generous yet manageable.
The elegant Art Deco decor of the main room catches the eye, while the front terrace draws in the occasional passerby. The service is friendly and attentive, although after all this time, the place probably runs smoothly on its own.
